PDF to Word Online | Editable DOCX

How to convert a PDF into an editable Word document: upload a PDF to get a docx with editable text. Complex layouts may need minor cleanup; scanned PDFs need OCR first.

You usually want PDF to Word when you have a PDF and need to change its content. The resulting docx has text you can edit, copy and reformat.

How it works: the engine re-identifies the text blocks in the PDF as paragraphs, headings and tables. For simple documents (reports, contracts, manuals) the recovery is often good.

Manage expectations: multi-column layouts, headers/footers, floating images, text boxes and complex tables may shift after conversion and usually need a few minutes of manual fix. This is common to every PDF-to-Word tool, not a flaw of any single one.

Scanned or image-only PDFs produce a blank or image-only Word file — there is no text layer, so OCR must run first.
