When should you convert an image to SVG?
Which assets are good for tracing, why photos struggle, and how this differs from SVG→PNG.
Good fits: crisp logos, icons, silhouettes, and flat illustrations.
OK with caveats: busy gradients — try Detailed, expect a larger SVG.
Poor fits: portraits, landscapes, noisy scans — keep them as rasters.
If you already have SVG and need PNG, use the SVG→PNG tool instead.
