How bitrate affects size and quality when converting online.
128k suits speech; 192k is a solid daily default; 320k is near the top of common lossy.
Raising bitrate cannot restore detail already lost in a low-bitrate source.
WAV / FLAC ignore bitrate and use sample depth — expect larger files.
